Description
Pair of handmade wooden clogs known as 'trompers'. Each toe has a brown rubberised canvas strap attached with wire 'nails'. One strap has broken away. The heel of each clog is marked in pencil on the side 'W. ORAM'.

Made by VX58783 Captain (Sister) Wilma Oram of 2/13 Australian General Hospital while she was a prisoner of war of the Japanese on Sumatra.
