History / Summary

The Dili Surf Life Saving Club (DSLSC) was established by the initial members of the Australian National Command Element East Timor (ASNCE-EM). The Club was affiliated with Surf Life Saving Australia and official shirts, shorts and caps were sent from Australia. The DSLSC provided social and recreational activities for ASNCE-EM members and guests, such as a bar facility, movie and hot dog nights, beach days and Australia Day celebrations.
