Description

AWM38 3DRL 6673/989 - Album of 38 pages (including inside covers) containing 221 photographs covering research conducted by Charles Bean. On the front of the photograph album is a hand written sticker identifying the album as “To Egypt 1914 Mena Camp : Luxon with Jack Mar 1915”. Photographs are uncaptioned, but have a ‘Y’ number hand written in the corner of image. Topics consist of portraits of soldiers; life at sea; life in the Mena Camp; tourism in archaeological sites.
