Pakchon area, North Korea, 1950-11-13. Lieutenant General Sir Horace Clement Hugh 'Red Robbie' Robertson (centre), Commander-in-Chief of the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) in Japan, explains a point to two bearded soldiers (left), possibly members of the 16th New Zealand Field Artillery Regiment, during a visit of inspection to the Headquarters of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR). Standing next to Robertson and wearing a beret is Brigadier [Basil] Aubrey Coad, Commanding Officer (CO) of the 27th British Commonwealth Infantry Brigade. Brigadier Coad's Aide-de-Camp is standing in the background at left, wearing a beret and carrying a bag. On the other side of Robertson is Lieutenant Colonel [Ian] Bruce Ferguson, the newly appointed CO of 3RAR, who is holding a board with a map pinned to it. At right stands an unidentified captain from 3RAR. (Donor I. Robertson)
