Small Kitbag : Lance Corporal T W J Lupton, 1 Battalion Royal Australian Regiment
Description
Khaki cotton kitbag with a white cotton drawstring at the opening. Handwritten in black ink on one side of the bag is '213548 / LUPTON'. There are several black scuff marks and stains on the front with some brown and reddish stains on the rear.
History / Summary
This small khaki cotton kitbag was used by 213548 Private Thomas William John Lupton, born 28 March 1943. Lupton served in South Vietnam with 1 Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (RAR) from 5 June 1965 to 3 June 1966. He later served nine years in the Australian Regular Army. He retired from the Army with the rank of corporal with 2RAR.
