DPCU shirt
This object relates to the service of Andrew Roberts and Chloe Dray.
This Disruptive Pattern Camouflage Uniform (DPCU) is worn by current serving members of the Australian Defence Force. The pattern makes the wearer less visible, while the long sleeves protect against the sun, wind, and insect bites.
In an article published in Army News, Captain Chloe Dray said: “it doesn’t matter if you’re black or if you’re white, because when you put on this uniform, we’re all wearing the green skin”[1]. What do you think she meant by this statement?
