Description
A propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. The item is written in Japanese and was distributed to Japan-Formosa, Balikpapan, Bougainville and China-Hong Kong. An English translation of the text is attached. Events covered by this issue include the capture of the Balikpapan airfields by the Australian forces, the unprecedented fire raid attacking Kure, Shimonoseki, Ube and Kumamoto, the bombing of airfields in Kyûshû by planes based on Okinawa, and the situation in China and Bougainville.
