Private Victor Leo Hepworth
Description
Private Victor Leo Hepworth (3411, 50th Battalion) was born in Adelaide, SA. He was working as a labourer when he enlisted in January 1917. Victor was killed in action on Broodseinde Ridge on 18 October 1917, just two and a half weeks after joining his unit. He was 17 years of age. Victor is buried in the Cement House Cemetery, Belgium. Victor’s brother, Private Frank Edward Hepworth, served in the 10th Battalion, AIF.
