The 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), which is with 1 Commonwealth Division in Korea, recently opened a school to train NCOs. Here some of the first students to attend the course are having a lesson on the Bren gun. Lying behind the guns are 13128 Lance Corporal (L Cpl) Bernard Vincent Corrigan (left) of Ascot, Qld, and L Cpl Ron Nelson of Lakemba, NSW. L Cpl Corrigan has been in Korea for eight months as a member of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), and L Cpl Nelson arrived with the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR) four months ago.
