Abstract
This article is part two of a four part series. The authors describe the battle of Amiens which took place on the 8th August 1918. The authors based this on translations of the German official history. The authors go on to describe the number of German officers and other ranks captured by the Australians as well as the distance in they managed to penetrate the German lines. This is further broken down to achievements by individual units on the day.
