| Note | FIRST only. A single composite map, formed from parts of four joined sheets from a topographical series, covering the 1st ATF operational area in the Bien Hoa region of southern Vietnam. Extends from Long Thanh in Bien Hoa (modern Dong Nai) province south to Phu My in Phuoc Tuy (modern Ba Ria - Vung Tau) province. Shows operational boundaries, locations of 1RAR, 9 RAR and A Squadron, as well as coded reference points. Shows also populated places, Route 15 and other roads and tracks, military posts, temples, ruins, watercourses, wetland and rice areas, and other vegetation and terrain features. Relief shown by contours and shading. Map relates to the Vietnam service of Sergeant Don Elbourne, 1RAR. |
