HMAS Stuart Ikara missile trials
Description
Launches and recovery of the Australian designed Ikara anti-submarine guided missile system. HMAS Stuart was the first of the Royal Australian Navy River Class frigates to be equipped with Ikara. HMAS Stuart was used as the Ikara trial and development ship almost exclusively from 1963 to 1965.
