Osaka Arsenal after the B29s
A home movie taken by Brigadier (Brig) John O'Brien. Brig O'Brien served as the Leader of the Australian Scientific Mission to Japan 1945-1946 and Chief of the Scientific and Technical Division Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers (SCAP) HQ Tokyo 1946-1951. Title: 'Osaka arsenal after the B29s' Shows a long shot of Osaka castle. Long shot of the destroyed weapons factory. Various scenes inside the bomb damaged arsenal including a six barrel mobile rocket launcher, 20 barrel rocket launcher, heavy artillery pieces and vehicles amongst the wreckage. Panning shot of wrecked machinery. Uniformed and civilian Allied group inspect the entrances to a unground tunnel complex.
