Jivenaneng-Kumawa

This honour was awarded for the series of actions and attack that resulted in the capture of Jivenaneng and Kumawa, during the Japanese counter attack against Scarlet Beach. The fighting around Jivenaneng was particularly heavy. Advancing from Jivenaneng and Kumawa in mid-November, the Australians moved towards Sattelberg.
