Studio portrait of 944 Private (Pte) Albert Stiles, D Company, 31st Battalion, of Williamstown, Vic. Pte Stiles enlisted on 12 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard or HMAT Wandilla on 9 November 1915. He was killed in action on 21 July 1916 in France. See also DA11486.
