Description

Panorama group portrait of members of staff of "B" Records, Administrative Headquarters, AIF. Identified: front row; Mabel Kentleton, who started work in the B Records in 1917, completing her service in the Casualty Cables of "C" Records on 26 April 1919 (third from left); Major John Arnold Neale, later OBE, MBE (19th from left); Sadie Brooks, wearing fur cape (20th from left); Third Row: Hannah Winifred Coleman (second from right) later to work in "C" Records during 1919; Back row: 2794 Private (Pte) Morris Cedric Clair Joseph, of Ballarat, Vic, (fourth from left) Hannah Coleman and Pte Morris Joseph were married at St Johns Wood Synagogue, London on 23 June 1918. Pte Joseph returned to Australia leaving England on 11 January 1919 and was invalided out of the service on 4 April 1919 due to influenza and pneumonia. The couple lived in Victoria.
