Description
Studio portrait probably of 4025 Private (Pte) Seymour Harrison, 9th Reinforcements, 24th Battalion, of Porepunkah, Vic. Pte Harrison is wearing corporal's stripes and may have been appointed temporarily to this rank. He enlisted on 23 August 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Warilda in Melbourne on 8 February 1916. He returned to Australia as a member of the 3rd Machine Gun Battalion on 27 May 1919.
