Description
Studio portrait of 2593 Private (Pte) Arthur Glassbrough Gibson, 8th Reinforcements, 14th Battalion, of North Williamstown, Vic. Pte Gibson enlisted on 28 April 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Makarini on 15 September 1915. He later served as a company quartermaster sergeant and was awarded the Military Service Medal (MSM). CQMS Gibson returned to Australia on 8 April 1919 with the 46th Battalion.
