AFH-1 flying helmet
Description
Olive green AFH-1 flying helmet. The helmet has a single clear visor and internal black padded earphones. The helmet is padded on the inside with vinyl covered foam and secured by a padded cotton chin strap. A boom mounted 'M-87/AIC' microphone is attached to the left side. A makers label is attached to the inner right hand side. The top of the visor bears the remains of the word 'GRAY' in black ink.
