Join the army...
Description
This poster is a clever satire of traditional recruitment posters for the period. It begins with the traditional-style phrase "Join the Army," and continues to describe some of the perceived perks of joining the army: "travel to exotic, / distant lanks; meet exciting, unusual / people," but ends abruptly with the sardonic "and kill them." This satire is a simple, yet effective way for the Moratorium movement to put forward and promote their anti-war sentiments.
