Studio portrait of 183 Private (Pte) Denis Alfred Stinson, 36th Battalion, of Paddington, NSW. A NSW Government tramways worker, he enlisted on 25 January 1916, and embarked from Sydney, NSW aboard HMAT Beltana on 13 May 1916. Pte Stinson was killed in action in France on the 22 January 1917, aged 28.
