Description
Informal outdoors portrait of four unidentified Australian soldiers at Mena Camp, Egypt. The men are accompanied by a camel driver (right) and his animals, which two of the soldiers are sitting on. Note the axe and screw auger in front of the soldiers at centre, which were probably used for construction work at the camp. Several rectangular tent buildings, made from canvas sheets hung from timber posts, are visible in the background.
