If You Want To Be Spotted Do This!
Description
The first of four original designs by an artist with the Camouflage Research Section, Department of Home Security, Canberra for a series of posters titled 'If you want to be spotted do this!'. The designs show four different ways that soldiers could ensure that their camp will be spotted from the air by the enemy. This design depicts an aerial view of an army camp in the jungle with a big pile of light coloured crates left in a clearing clearly visible. The image is positioned in the upper two thirds while the title text printed in black ink is positioned beneath the image in the bottom third.
