He talked... This happened. Careless talk costs lives

Above this image is the text "now up at our works...", alluding to the information being relayed from one gentleman to the other, a fact furtherd by the large red text across this half of image stating "he talked.." The lower half of the poster depicts a firefight with the superimposed yellow text "..This happened", and at the lower margin over the poster is the text "careless talk costs lives." Taken as a whole, the poster tells its audience that even what might be thought of as harmless talk, may indeed threaten the livelihoods of other Britons.
