A party from 78 Fighter Wing RAAF leaving the parish church known as Mosta Dome during a sightseeing tour of Malta. The men were stationed on the island for garrison duty. The building has the third biggest unsupported dome in Europe after St Peter's in Rome and St Paul's in London; a German bomb penetrated the dome in April 1942 but failed to explode.
