Blast Hitler
Description
This Australian Second World War poster was created by General Motors Holden for use in one of their factories.
This poster, entitled "Blast Hitler" depicts a cartoon Hitler in the lower right hand corner, with five bombs (one is largely hidden by the text panel on the left) aimed in his general direction. The artist has also added an extra creative touch in depicting the quotation marks around "Blast Hitler" to represent the 'S' in the SS logo. The text in the poster discusses the issues facing London at present, aiming to inspire workers to work hard and help in the fight against Hitler.
