Description
The original grave marker, covered in flowers, of 1419 Trooper (Tpr) Arthur Lowrie, 9th Australian Light Horse, of Croyden Park, SA. Tpr Lowrie enlisted on 9 September 1915 and embarked from Adelaide aboard HMAT Benalla on 27 October 1915. He died of meningitis in Egypt on 31 January 1918 aged 25 years.
