An outdoors group portrait of officers of the 11th Battalion. Identified are Captain Alick Gilbert Burgess (front row, first from the left), Lieutenant (Lt) Frank Sheldon Goundrey (second row, second from the left) and Lt James Robert George MM (back row, second from the right). All other officers are unidentified. Note an officer in the front row (centre) is wearing a Military Cross (MC) ribbon [possibly Lt Robert Beattie or Lt William Wallace Graham] and an officer in the second row (first from the left) is wearing a MC and Bar ribbon.
