Every woman not doing vital work is needed now
Description
British Second World War recruitment poster directed at women. The poster features the image of two young women in uniform standing one in front of the other. The first is in A T S uniform while the other is in W A F uniform. Each woman is shadowed with a silhouette of her male counterpart from her service. The message of the poster stresses the importance of women entering the forces. Under the image the title is printed in large brown ink lettering, 'Every woman not doing vital work is needed NOW". Under this title is further text printed in large white lettering on a blue background, 'FULL INFORMATION AT THE NEAREST RECRUITING CENTRE OR YOUR EMPLOYMENT EXCHANGE'.
