Description
Papers of VX122387 Private Joseph Greenberg, who served with B Company, 2/6 Field Ambulance. Greenberg enlisted in December 1942. His diary entries record details of action in New Guinea and New Britain in 1944-1945. Other records comprise poems and short stories written by Greenberg during his military service. Greenberg studied graphic art at Swinburne and his cartoons were used in 'Salt', the 6th Brigade newspaper and for 'Khaki and Green', the Army Christmas Book.
