Dark brown, flatish cross sectioned wooden long bow.
History / Summary
In April 1998 during Operation BEL ISI, HMAS Tobruk hosted a series of meetings to finalise a ceasefire agreement between Bougainvillean leaders and Papua New Guinea negotiators. During the ceremonies accompanying the signing of the Ceasefire Implementing Agreement this bow was presented to the Commanding Officer HMAS Tobruk, Commander Allan du Toit RAN by the special state negotiator for Bougainville, Sir John Kaputin.
