Description
First World War poster issued by the Canadian Government to sell war savings stamps. This poster depicts a Soldier in the foreground rolling up his sleeves to start working on the land. The handles of a plough visible to his left and his discarded uniform at his feet to his right. In the background is the silhouette of factories on the right. behind the soldier the sky is a brilliant blue with a rainbow across his back. The title is positioned along the bottom and bottom in red and brown ink. The triangular War Savings Stamps emblem is positioned in the lower right.
