Allons! Finissons la Besogne souscrivons a L'Emprunt de la Victoire
Description
Canadian poster beseeching the viewer to subscribe to the Victory Loan. A laughing Canadian soldier is removing his khaki jacket; his shadow is cast dramatically on a wall behind him. The poster is depicting a projected future, in which the soldier is delighted to be at last removing his uniform because the war is over. The title occupies the lower fourth of the poster, printed in both green and red ink. The loose translation of the title is, 'Let's go! Finish the job by subscribing to the Victory Loan'. An English version of this poster was also produced (ARTV00465).
