Description
Two unidentified members of a militia Light horse unit firing a Vickers .303 machine gun. which is mounted on a tripod. The gun is water cooled around the barrel, which allows for prolonged firing, by the metal container and hose attached to the front of the barrel. Note the large amount of empty ammunition clips at the feet of the soldier firing the gun.
