Description
Collection relating to the service of Major Arthur James Maudsley, 38 Battalion, AIF, France, 1916-1918. Collection consists of photostat copies of seven letters written by Major Maudsley to his family, while he was on active service in France. Some of the letters contains graphic descriptions of conditions in frontline trenches following heavy bombardments.
