Collection relating to the First World War service of Leading Stoker Norbert Joseph McCrory, HMAS Australia, c 1918.

Wallet 1 of 1 - This wallet contains a handwritten account of the raid on Zeebrugge, Belgium by Leading Stoker McCrory. His details are specific, including speed and disposition of the ships involved, as well as the selection and training of seamen for land combat duties. He also included a handwritten account of the surrender of the German fleet, November 1918. The wallet includes a hand-drawn map of the Zeebrugge raid and a typescript disposition of the German Grand Fleet for its surrender, dated 21 November 1918.

The wallet also includes a typescript letter from A W Bazley regarding the service history of McCrory and the provenance of his account.
