Collection relating to the service of 4651 Private Ernest Richard Arundel, 28 Battalion, France 1917. Collection includes condolence letter from Field Marshal Lord Birdwood providing details of the death of Arundel from wounds received at Lagnicourt, France 29 March 1917. Copy made in 1928 by Arundel's father R. A. Arundel, Chiswick, London in response to request made by the Memorial 9 June 1927 and referred to the Memorial by Australia House. Location of original unknown.
