Description
LETTER TO HIS BROTHER, WRITTEN SOON AFTER ARRIVAL IN BRITAIN, MENTIONING THE TORPEDOING OF THE "BALLARAT", AN AIR RAID ON LONDON AND THE FUN HE HAD ON LEAVE IN BRISTOL. A LATER LETTER FROM FRANCE URGED HIS MOTHER TO TELL EVERYONE AT HOME TO VOTE "NO" TO CONSCRIPTION
