Description
While a prisoner of war of the Japanese, Ferris kept a pencil written diary in an old school exercise book. The diary has now been lost, but shortly after his return to Australia, he used the diary to write a summary of his experiences relating to his time as a prisoner of war in Singapore, Burma, Vietnam and Japan. This collection consists of both a handwritten and typed copy (both undated) made from the original diary. Also included is a photocopy of an article reporting on the diary, from the Dubbo Liberal, dated 27 April 1965.
