Description
Collection relating to the service of Captain George E Stewart, US Medal of Honor, US Army. Consists of photocopies of service related papers issued by and to the Adjutant-General's Office covering Captain Stewart's service career in the US Army, United States of America. Included in the collection are papers describing the events that led to the presentation of the US Medal of Honor to Captain Stewart. A chronological list of the papers was prepared by Mr Staunton and is held in the first wallet.
