Sprod, G N (Gunner, 2/15th Regt and Artist, POW Changi)
Description
A 1944 Christmas card made by Sprod while in Changi for Bernard Campion, an English writer.
The first letter written by Sprod to his mother after capitulation. At that time we didn't know his father had been dead for 2 years. The letter gives some details of POW life both before and after liberation. It also describes Mountbatten's visit to Changi.
