Men of 2/24 Field Park Company (formerly 2/4 Field Park Company), Royal Australian Engineers, dragging a rubber dinghy ashore at El Alamein. When first seen, these men were thought to be the crew of a crashed bomber. After the picture was taken, it became clear that the men had merely returned from a fishing expedition.
