Glenn Martin bomber aircraft of Dutch forces in Netherland East Indies (NEI) on the tarmac at RAAF Base Darwin after transporting the body of the late Lieutenant- Colonel Eric George Scriven (VX28449) back to Australia. Lt Col Scriven, AIF specialist in coastal defences, was killed in a motor accident in the NEI on 30 June 1941.
