ALEXISHAFEN, NEW GUINEA. 1944-05-15. TROOPS OF THE 2/15TH FIELD AMBULANCE RE-BUILDING A WRECKED SECTION OF THE CATHOLIC MISSION. THE MISSION HAS RECEIVED DAMAGE FROM BOTH ALLIED AND JAPANESE BOMBING IN THE AREA. THIS BUILDING WHEN COMPLETED, WITLL BE USED AS A COMBINED REGIMENTAL AID POST, ORDERLY ROOM, ADMISSION AND DISCHARGE OFFICER, AND PACK STORE. IDENTIFIED PERSONNEL ARE:- TX5847 PRIVATE A.E.
