Description
This Japanese barge was discovered and re-floated by Lieutenant Wallace, an Indian Army officer attached to the 2/13th Field Company, Royal Australian Engineers. The barge, in excellent condition, was left behind in its hideout on the Goaling River, Huon Peninsula, by the retreating Japanese.
