AUSTRALIAN BROTHERS-IN-LAW MET FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MANY MONTHS AND FAR FROM HOME IN THAILAND THIS WEEK. THEY ARE SQUADRON LEADER BILL HUGHES OF COOGEE, NSW, A WELL KNOWN RAAF FIGHTER PILOT NOW WITH NO. 79 SABRE JETFIGHTER SQUADRON AT UBON, THAILAND (RIGHT) AND CAPT KEN BLADEN OF FLOREAT PARK, WA. CAPT BLADEN MOVED INTO THAILAND RECENTLY TO TAKE PART IN EXERCISE DHANARAJATA, A BIG SEATO EXERCISE. SQUADRON LEADER HUGHES TOOK PART IN A COMBINED AIR POWER DEMONSTRATION AT LOP BURI, 70 MILES NORTH OF BANGKOK ON JUNE 13. HE FLEW ONE OF EIGHT RAAF SABRES WHICH TOOK PART IN STRAFING AND NAPALM ATTACKS ON "ENEMY". THEY ARE SHOWN HERE ADMIRING THE NO. 79 (F) SQUADRON SIGN AT UBON.
