Description
A monument erected by Germans, to the memory of their airmen who were killed in action. On the left hand side of the monument is JAGDSTAFFEL 1 and on the right is 1917-1918 with a German Cross in the centre and a propeller, above the propeller are the words Flieger Denkmal - (Pilot's Memorial). A small cemetery (not in view) is to the right of the monument where German pilots as well as officers of the Royal Flying Corps are buried.
