Description
Kendau, Thailand. c. October 1942. Green Battalion of "A" Force marching to a new camp site to work on the construction of the Burma section of the Burma-Thailand railway, built for the Japanese by prisoner of war (POW) labour during 1942 and 1943. Kendau is four kilometres south of Thanbyuzayat, or 410 kilometres north of Nong Pladuk (also known as Non Pladuk). (Donor A. Seary)
