Informal outdoors portrait of 2nd Lieutenant (Lt) Lindsay Gordon Glowrey, 16th Battalion, of Perth, WA, smoking a pipe. Lt Glowrey enlisted on 8 August 1915 and embarked from Fremantle aboard HMAT Miltiades on 12 February 1916. He was killed in action at Bullecourt in France on 11 April 1917, aged 25 years.
