Description
Portrait of Corporal Cedric Lloyd Charles Lowden, 36th Battalion, of Hornsby, NSW (originally of Harden, NSW). Lowden enlisted on 28 January 1916 and embarked on HMAT Beltana on 13 May 1916. He was later promoted to the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. Lowden was killed in action on 19 July 1917, aged 20 years.
